Excuse me, I’ll be back after I have this baby.

No, I’m not in labor. But I’m close, and that’s pretty much all I can think about, so excuse me while I go obsess over cleaning my baseboards and organizing onesies.

Have so much I want to write about, but just… Can’t… Think… Straight. Brittany Maynard, therapy, collective storytelling, body acceptance… I’m thinking about it, I swear. Just can’t get it out right now. Like that sneeze that never comes, ya know?

In the meantime, here are some recent pictures of the Taters, currently three, soon to be four. Still haven’t thought of a nickname for the Fater. Any ideas?

Good luck! Wishing you an easy labor/delivery and a cooperative, healthy baby! (Is it OK to wish you a healthy baby in the sense of keeping her out of the hospital, not constantly miserable with sniffles etc?)

The name will come to you when you get to know her. I dunno, Gnocchi?

  2. Best wishes, my friend! Can’t wait to see the new addition. BTW: I’ve been cleaning baseboards, too. Must be some empathy nesting going on over here. xoxoxo

augh! trying not to look at my baseboards now, if they are what I think they are but too lazy to look up with my newly knifed finger (was in a rush this morning)…ooh, would love to hear your thoughts on what you gave a snippet of above…was that a typo – you called her “fater” not “tater”? so excited for her arrival! thinking of you lots!

My word, your children are beautiful. And growing like weeds! All the best for a relaxed and calm birth. Can’t wait to see the new addition!
